Education to Employment
Education to Employment

We worked through this model for a decade in 3 centers in Mumbai and Pune, working directly with 1000 children and adults. While working with these children and young adults, we realized that no matter what we do in our centers, the world outside is not ready to accept them and will still exclude them from mainstream living. We needed a way to close the loop to help these children and young adults achieve their dreams.

Paradigm Shift
Paradigm Shift

If we can influence the mainstream education space to become inclusive, children across abilities will be truly included. We worked on piloting our solutions with educational institutions, NGO’s Government, industry and sector councils we were able to impact 2,00,000 children. These results strengthened our belief that if the education intervention is designed keeping the most vulnerable in mind it will benefit every child.

Collaborations
Collaborations

With proven results through NGO partnerships we now move to our ultimate goal, partnership with the Government and mainstream Industry for systemic integration of inclusion across the country. We are now working with two state Governments, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu to scale inclusive education through systemic integration. There is a long way to go before there is asystemic mind shift, but we are striving to ensure, every last child learns and every young adult is employed.

Theory of Change

Team of Specialists

We at Sol's ARC are a one-of-a-kind team of professionals such as therapists and disability experts, as well as generalists such as school instructors and curriculum creators. Our programme team is comprised of experienced mid-career professionals in the areas of impact, operations, and finance. This combination distinguishes us in that we not only have the competence, but also the knowledge to implement solutions on the ground.

Growth Trajectory

After a decade of working directly with less than 5000 children, we have extended our programme to over 200,000 children in the last five years and are now collaborating with two state governments. In the next three years, we hope to reach a million youngsters.

Tipping point of scale

With a proven model and the start of systematic engagement with the government, we have reached a point of scale where we can see replicating our programme across the country over the next decade. We think that investing in Sol's ARC's programme and capability will accelerate inclusion and contribute to the creation of a more equal society.

Our pedagogy and tech-based solutions allow systemic change to produce improved learning results, which are scalable and implemented through collaborations with governments, non-governmental organisations, multilateral and bi-lateral organisations, and universities.

To date, we have helped over 200,000 youngsters drastically improve their academic performance.

Following the pandemic, it is projected that the integration of information technology in education would intensify, with online education becoming a fundamental component of school instruction and vocational training programmes.
