Khushi, like many other young ladies her age, aspired to better education and a great profession. But the road was not simply because she was not like the other girls her age.
Khushi was identified as a slow learner when she was just seven years old. Her parents could not afford special school or other teaching tools to help her study and catch up with other kids because she came from a low-income family. But, as caring parents to their only kid, they were also unwilling to give up. They devote all of their efforts and talents to locating the greatest available to them. That’s when they discovered Sol’s Arc.
Khushi was able to complete her 10th grade because of rigorous coaching and focused assistance. This provided her the much-needed courage to move through with her dream. Khushi was able to overcome her problems and dread of studying because of her newly obtained confidence. As the following step, Khushi enrolled in the Pathway vocational degree programme, and due to her family’s limited financial resources, Sol’s Arc granted sponsorship to help her achieve her goals.
Students can obtain skills in four sectors through the Pathway programme: food, information technology, education, and retail. Concurrently, the kids gain life skills with the help of a life coach. Khushi wishes to work in the retail sector. She just completed internships at Park View Hotel and Big Bazaar following her hotel management degree at ITM. Khushi has not only matured into a more self-assured young girl, but she has also began to support her family through her new career. Her dreams, which seemed improbable at the time, are becoming a reality with each passing day.
Sol’s Arc works with the most vulnerable and young children to develop inclusive solutions to address issues throughout their lifespan in order to give these children with a sustainable living option. We provide educational solutions to ensure that every kid in the classroom learns and that every young adult is employed. Our pedagogy and technology-based solutions allow systemic change to achieve improved learning and employment results, which are scalable and deployed through collaborations with governments, non-governmental organisations, multilateral and bi-lateral organisations, and universities.
Over 200,000 youngsters have been influenced by our varied activities. We are collaborating with some of India’s premier non-governmental organisations and are now working with two state governments, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, to grow inclusive education through systemic integration in order to duplicate our model in other states and at the national level.
